S. Douglas (Doug) Drinnon is a member of the firm and his primary areas of practice include personal injury (on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants), general civil litigation, insurance defense, medical malpractice, products liability, commercial litigation, zoning and land use, municipal and governmental representation, and litigation regarding animals and all classes of wildlife.
Mr. Drinnon is a Harry S. Truman Scholar (1992), and a member of the Jefferson County Bar Association (1999- Present). He has been licensed to practice law in Tennessee since 1997, and practices in state and federal courts.
Mr. Drinnon represents plaintiffs and defendants in various types of personal injury litigation, including catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases, and general civil litigation. He represents Jefferson County, Tennessee, the cities of New Market, Baneberry, and Bean Station, Shady Grove Utility District, Appalachian Electric Cooperative, and Tiger Haven, Inc.
Mr. Drinnon is a native of Jefferson County, Tennessee. He received a Bachelor of Science (Criminal Justice) from East Tennessee State University (summa cum laude) in 1992, a Master of Public Administration from the University of Tennessee in 1997 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Tennessee (cum laude) in 1997. Mr. Drinnon is a Rule 31 Listed General Civil Mediator.
